Recently Mark was asked a question about marketing and whether or not we use Angie's List. To answer this question, we have a free listing on Angie's List. We are not an Angie's List member because we don't want to shell out lots of money on advertising on multiple websites. We shell out our advertising money on our own website. Angie's List does charge businesses to read their reviews, and use their site, so we do not use it. We do not pay a marketing person to update the website, I do all of the updating. Grove City Garage Door Inc. is a small business and if you paid to be on every single website out there, you would lose money rather than make money.
Every website out there is trying to make money in some way, shape, or form just the same as any search engine. Search engines make money through advertising money.
How a business pays through advertising money:
*purchase of a domain name costs a subscription fee every year to two years depending upon the package you get.
*Web hosting packages cost money to design a website, the web host pays the search engine.
*Getting your website higher in rankings can require some pay to click advertising with Google, Yahoo, and Bing
*We purchase business cards
*We purchase stickers to put on garage doors

*Word of Mouth! Word of Mouth comes from satisfied customers!
*Customers that link to our website, and leave reviews for us help with advertising.
The best advertising we receive is the compliment of our customers! When our customers recommend us to another that is the ultimate advertising! Word of Mouth works the best, when a customer is satisfied they are most likely to tell 3-4 of their friends. When a customer is not satisfied they are most likely to tell 10 or more people of their dissatisfaction. Grove City Garage Door Inc. tries it's best to satisfy every customer to get the 3-4 word of mouth referrals every single time! We love getting reviews from our customers and love knowing we did a great job! Thanks to all of our customers, we have been prosperous and have the ability to survive in these turbulent times!
